You’ll have the opportunity to catch brown trout, Mediterranean or zebra trout, brook trout, and barbel, all in stunning Natural and National Parks like Alt Pirineu, Aigüestortes – Estany de Sant Maurici, and Ordesa and Monte Perdido, as well as in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
The trip includes two strategically selected accommodations: the first in the eastern sector and the second, at your choice, in the western sector if you prefer fishing in mountain rivers, or in the foothills of the Pyrenees if you are looking for the challenge of targeting trophy trout in plain rivers. The group will be limited to a maximum of four anglers, accompanied by an expert guide. We will use a comfortable and spacious van for transfers and guided fishing activities.

FAQS
Is this trip designed for groups of friends or individual anglers?
This trip is suitable for both types of travelers. If you are part of a group of anglers who want to enjoy this experience together, we can adjust the dates to fit your availability. If you’re traveling solo, it’s a great opportunity to join other English-speaking anglers who share your passion for fishing in the Pyrenees. On our website, you can check the available groups, dates, and open spots.
If, on the other hand, you prefer personalized attention or are traveling with 1 or 2 friends, the prices will be different, as the group is smaller and the attention more customized. The prices are as follows:
- 1 person: to be determined.
- 2 people: 2,400 euros per person (based on double occupancy) and 2,650 euros for single occupancy.
- 3 people: 1,950 euros per person (based on double occupancy) and 2,180 euros for single occupancy.
What is the required fitness level to participate in this fishing tour in the Pyrenees?
An intermediate level of fitness is necessary. The mountain rivers can be challenging to walk on, and one of the days includes a short hike to a lake.
Apart from the price indicated on the website, are there any additional expenses I should be aware of?
The registration fee includes all meals, accommodation, transportation, and any needs that arise from our departure from Barcelona until our return. In the «NEED TO KNOW» section, you’ll find a breakdown of what is included, what isn’t, and other important information to consider.
Where will we be staying during the trip?
Generally, the first accommodation will be at Hotel Cases in La Guingueta (Lleida province). The second accommodation may vary depending on the itinerary. The two possible locations are the Ibón Apartments in Campo, ideal if you prefer fishing in mountain rivers, or Hotel Roma in Cubells, if you’re looking for the challenge of catching trophy trout in flat rivers.
Do you offer fishing gear rental services?
Yes, we offer rental services for waders, boots, rods, and reels. The rental cost is €200 for the entire trip.
What types of flies should I use for fishing?
We will send you a PDF document with recommendations for dry flies, nymphs, and streamers suitable for this trip. Please note that flies are not included in the trip price, but if you wish, we can prepare a selection of 20 or 40 flies for you to fish in all the rivers of the expedition. The price for each fly will be €2.20, payable in cash upon arrival.
Will I have mobile signal and Wi-Fi access during the trip to communicate with my family?
All accommodations have mobile signal and Wi-Fi access. Additionally, many fishing areas have coverage, although some may not.
Will there be a meeting before the start of the trip?
Two weeks before the expedition, we will organize a virtual meeting to introduce ourselves, present the itinerary, and answer any questions you may have. We will also create a WhatsApp group with the guide and the four anglers to quickly address any doubts.
If the expedition is canceled, will I get a refund for my reservation?
For trips canceled less than 90 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation will be lost, which corresponds to the total cost of the trip (unless a substitute is found). If the cancellation occurs more than 90 days in advance, 50% of the reservation will be lost, corresponding to 50% of the total trip cost, unless a replacement is found. The remaining 50% will be refunded or can be used for future trips.
Are there any discounts available?
We offer a 10% discount for groups of friends who book four spots together.
